A Proven Critical Minerals Development … Bravon International Achieves its First Nickel Ore Export from the Philippines!
Bravon International Co., Ltd. announced on the 19th that, in partnership with CCIL Mining of the Philippines, it has completed the development of one of its Nickel Projects in the Dinagat region and successfully carried out its first export of 54,700 tons of Nickel Ore. This marks a milestones that other companies including large corporations hardly achieved. Its a footprint that a Korean company has commercially developed and exported Nickel Ore from the Philippines. The Dinagat region is known for its rich nickel deposits and high commercial value, but it has long been considered one of the most challenging areas to develop due to its rugged terrain, frequent weather changes, and complex permitting procedures. Bravon International established a stable production and shipping environment through years of geological surveys, infrastructure development, the introduction of mining equipment, and a solid organization that contributes to the crucial logistics systems. The achievement was made possible in large part by its local partner, CCIL Mining. As a seasoned mining company with extensive experience in multiple Philippine projects, CCIL Mining provided strong support in geological exploration, permit management, and on-site operations, leveraging its accumulated expertise. Bravon International and CCIL Mining maintained a close, family based and trust-based partnership, which enabled them to respond flexibly to unforeseen challenges in the field, which plays a major factor in this milestones! Through this success, Bravon International not only strengthens its foothold in the Philippine’s mining industry but is also expected to contribute to the stability of critical minerals such as nickel supply chains both domestically and internationally. Building on its Dinagat development experience, the company is planning to expand its development and operations to PMDC/NRMI and KKCD’s Project Area-1, Barubangkaw Mining (an Indigenous Mining Companh) in Claver Surigao del Norte, while simultaneously negotiating long-term supply contracts with smelters in Japan, China, and Korea, as well as with major global trading firms. Bravon International official stated, “This case is a meaningful achievement that demonstrates the competitiveness of Korean companies in the global resource development market. Such success though would not have been possible without the strong partnership with CCIL Mining. We hope this milestone will encourage both the government and the capital markets to take a more positive view of resource development investments.” Bravon Internation is set to conducr its formal signing ceremony with the Indigenous Peoples on 29 August 2025 which will be a remarkable and legendary Project. 정현식 기자international development nickel ore philippines it korean company
