Bravon and CCIL Highlight Partnership with the Mamanwa Community, Launch Major Development in Dinagat and Surigao
Bravon International Ltd., in partnership with CCIL Mining & Mineral Resources Corp. (CCIL), successfully held its Inaugural Nickel Project Roadshow and Signing Ceremony, marking a new chapter for the Philippine nickel mining industry. The landmark event underscored the companies’ commitment to sustainable growth and industry leadership, attended by top government officials, key industry leaders, strategic partners, and representatives of indigenous communities. During the ceremony, Bravon and CCIL formalized strategic agreements with Khan Kon Chi Development Corporation (KKCDC) and Barubangkaw Mineral Mining Corporation (BMMC). These agreements highlight the companies’ pledge to advance sustainable mining practices and community driven development models, balancing responsible growth with social value creation. A highlight of the event was the announcement of the successful export of 54,700 metric tons of nickel ore, achieved without a single demurrage charge. This record achievement demonstrates the companies’ operational excellence, logistical efficiency, and reliability, further solidifying their standing as global leaders in Responsible Mining. The celebration also paid tribute to the Mamanwa indigenous community, whose resilience and sacrifices have been central to advancing sustainable development in the region. For decades, the Mamanwa have fought for justice, land rights, and sustainable livelihoods, and their pursuit of an indigenous led mining enterprise has become a model of perseverance and progress. Leaders including Hon. Renante Boklas, Mabalaw Alicio Patac, and Bae Banzai Porogoy attended the event, symbolizing the community’s role in shaping responsible industry practices. Bravon and CCIL reaffirmed their commitment to work with the Mamanwa to uphold indigenous rights, strengthen local communities, and promote ethical mining standards. Looking ahead, Bravon and CCIL announced plans to pursue listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) and the Korea Stock Exchange (KRX), with the long-term vision of being included in major market indices.
