G-DRAGON to Meet 21 Nation Leaders at APEC Welcome Dinner Gala Performance… The Only K-Pop Artist

G-DRAGON is set to perform at the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit Welcome Dinner Gala cultural event.   As an ambassador for the APEC Summit, G-DRAGON will perform at the Welcome Dinner Gala on the evening of October 31st at the Gyeongju Lahan Hotel Grand Ballroom, attended by heads of state and high-ranking officials from 21 nations. As the sole K-Pop artist present, G-DRAGON is expected to elevate Korea's cultural stature and contribute to the successful hosting of the event through an innovative and creative performance.   G-DRAGON, who has established himself as a 'cultural icon' leading pioneering initiatives across various fields beyond K-Pop, including fashion, art, and science and technology, was appointed as an APEC Summit ambassador in July. His APEC promotional video garnered significant attention, receiving praise for "opening new horizons in international event promotion" and accumulating over 17 million views as of the 27th. G-DRAGON reportedly showed great dedication during the video production, traveling between Korea and the United States despite his busy schedule for a world tour.   The APEC Summit Preparatory Planning Group stated, "G-DRAGON, with his global influence, was appointed as an ambassador because he is the optimal figure to effectively convey the values of connection and sustainability, which APEC aims for, both domestically and internationally." They added, "We anticipate an outstanding performance at the Welcome Dinner Gala as well."   Meanwhile, G-DRAGON, who has consistently delivered future-oriented messages transcending the boundaries of art and science, has successfully proven his global popularity by concluding performances in Asia-Pacific regions including Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, Macau, Sydney, Melbourne, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong, followed by major U.S. cities such as Newark, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, and a final show in Paris, France. Global Junior Debaters Announces Winter Iteration 2024 to Empower Future Leaders

Seoul, South Korea — Global Junior Debaters (GJD), a pioneering platform dedicated to cultivating critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills among young debaters, is excited to announce its highly anticipated Winter Iteration 2024, which will take place from December 16 to December 19, 2024. This debate program will provide middle and high school students with high-quality opportunities to develop their debate skills, engage with global issues, and build a network of like-minded individuals worldwide.   Chloe Oh, founder and president of GJD, shared her excitement for this upcoming event: "The Winter Iteration of Global Junior Debaters will serve as an empowering space for young debaters to refine their skills—whether they're refining existing abilities or just beginning their debate journeys. We are excited to continue providing a platform for young debaters to express their ideas and become confident leaders."   Iteration Highlights: ● Professional Debate Coaching: Debaters will be mentored and guided by experienced coaches and former champions who will provide feedback and mentorship throughout the duration of the iteration and beyond. ● Debate Tournaments: Students will participate in dynamic, real-world debate scenarios on globally relevant themes, including environmental sustainability, AI ethics, economics, and international relations. ● Lectures and Skills Training: In addition to debating, the program will feature specialized lectures on persuasive public speaking, critical analysis, and effective argumentation. ● Global Networking: Students from a variety of countries will have the opportunity to collaborate and connect with their peers, forming international friendships and future professional networks.   Expanding the GJD Network Following the success of the Summer 2024 Debate Camp, which garnered a 93% satisfaction rate from participants and expanded to over 15 international schools, GJD aims to further extend its global reach through this winter event.
