SINBIBIO CO., LTD. Signs USD 24 Million Investment Agreement with Iksan City for National Food Cluster Facility

SINBIBIO CO., LTD.(신비바이오), CEO Kang-won Lee(대표이사 이강원), a health functional food manufacturer, has committed to investing USD 24 million in the National Food Cluster located in Iksan, North Jeolla Province.   On the 7th, SINBIBIO CO., LTD. and Iksan City signed an investment agreement at Iksan City Hall in the presence of officials from Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and the National Food Cluster.   Under the agreement, SINBIBIO CO., LTD. plans to construct a new manufacturing facility on an 8,998 square meters site within the National Food Cluster and create more than 140 jobs.   Founded in 2018 with its first plant in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, SINBIBIO CO., LTD. has sustained consistent growth as a health functional food manufacturer. The company supplies OEM products to more than 60 domestic clients and has expanded its market presence through its own private-label (PB) brands. It has also established global competitiveness by exporting to five Asian countries, including Thailand and Singapore.   The new facility is planned to exceed the production capacity of the existing Pocheon plant and will be developed as an advanced smart factory fully compliant with international Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for health functional foods.   "We have long prepared for entry into the National Food Cluster, the heart of Korea’s food industry," said Kang-won Lee, CEO of SINBIBIO CO., LTD.
