[오늘의 생활영어] (one) is off to (a particular place); (누가 특정한 곳에) 가다

(It's one-thirty and Julie is leaving work while Dave is coming back from lunch…)   (오후 1시 30분. 줄리는 사무실을 나가고 데이브는 점심 식사 뒤 사무실로 돌아온다...)   Dave: Hi Julie. Where are you going?   데이브: 안녕 줄리. 어디 가는 거야?     Julie: I’m off to feed the meter.   줄리: 주차 미터기에 동전을 넣으러 가.     Dave: Why don’t you park in the parking lot?   데이브: 주차장에 세우지 그랬어?   Julie: The parking lot is full.   줄리: 주차장이 꽉 찼어.   Dave: I’ll walk with you. So how do you like working here?   데이브: 같이 가자. 그래 여기서 일하는 거 어때?   Julie: Well, it’s only been one week but everyone has been so nice and helpful.   줄리: 글쎄, 일한 지 1주일 밖에 안됐지만 다들 너무 좋고 잘 도와줘.   Dave: That’s good.   데이브: 잘 됐다.   Julie: Working here beats working at my other job.   줄리: 여기서 일하는 게 전에 일하던 곳보다 훨씬 좋아.   Dave: Was it bad there?   데이브: 거긴 별로였어?   Julie: It was a zoo.
