  Dr. Lee Seung-min of BTQ Clinic gave a presentation on extracellular matrix (ECM) at a skin booster seminar held on September 5.    The seminar was organized to share recent academic developments and clinical perspectives in the field of skin boosters, while providing an opportunity for academic exchange among medical professionals. Medical professionals and related personnel attended the event, where discussions covered the concept and clinical significance of ECM, as well as the use of ECM-related materials.     Dr. Lee Seung-min gave presentations titled “Volumizing Using ECM” and “ECM Layering: A Combined Treatment Strategy Using CellREDM and CellREDM V,” sharing clinical approaches and various cases related to ECM-based skin boosters.     The presentations were followed by a Q&A session and networking, during which the attending medical professionals exchanged clinical experiences and diverse perspectives on ECM-based skin boosters.     A representative of BTQ Clinic said, “The seminar provided an opportunity to share various clinical perspectives on ECM-based skin boosters. Page Lab’s Dr. Lee So You Presents at '2026 Sculptra Night with Leaders100,' Introducing a New Clinical Standard for Sculptra Lifting

Dr. Lee So You of Page Lab Clinic delivered a lecture at 2026 Sculptra Night with Leaders100, held on June 27, under the theme "The 2-Vial Protocol: Practical Strategies for Sculptra Lifting." During the session, she introduced a new clinical approach to facial lifting using Sculptra, drawing from her extensive hands-on experience.   Sculptra Night with Leaders100 is an academic program that brings together experienced Sculptra practitioners from across Korea to exchange the latest treatment strategies and clinical insights. As the discussions are centered on real-world treatment protocols and patient outcomes, the event places particular emphasis on practical expertise and clinical experience.   In her presentation, Dr. Lee explained that facial aging should not simply be viewed as a loss of volume, but rather as a gradual weakening of the face’s structural support. Based on this perspective, she introduced the concept of "Lifting Sculptra"—an approach that focuses not on adding volume, but on restoring the underlying facial framework.   At the heart of the lecture was her 2-Vial Protocol, a systematic treatment strategy covering everything from patient selection and treatment planning to injection techniques. She also shared injection methods tailored to different anatomical structures and tissue characteristics, along with a variety of real clinical cases involving patients from their 20s to 60s. The case studies highlighted customized treatment strategies based on different aging patterns and generated strong interest among attending physicians.   "Sculptra is more than a volumizing treatment," Dr. Lee explained. "To achieve natural, predictable results, we need to understand both the facial structure and the direction of the aging process. Lifting is not about adding more volume—it’s about restoring structural support."   The lecture introduced a new clinical perspective by shifting the conversation from "How much should we fill?" to "How should we support the face?" Jung Hun Choi, CEO of YIDO, presents as a speaker at the first Conference of the Global Climate Action Fund

Jung Hun Choi, CEO of Yido, attended the first Global Conference of Climate Action Fund (GCAF) as a speaker and made a presentation on how to respond to climate change. Yido is an environmentally friendly company, which is the sole “Value-UP” platform in Korea.   CEO Choi made a presentation at the 2022 GCAF, held at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul last month. Of all the eco-friendly companies in Korea, Only Yido was invited to the conference.     During his presentation, CEO Choi introduced what Yido has accomplished and pursues to achieve “net zero”: the establishment of a nationwide full-value chain of industrial waste treatment; Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) business; solar power generation business on salt-affected land; waste recycling and renewable energy business such as offshore wind power.     "We have a complete value chain of waste disposal that connects waste processing, recycling, incineration, and landfill. Through the modernization efforts, we have successfully established an automation system which doubles the amount of waste recycling while reducing fine dust and noise," said Choi at the conference.   He also said, “As plastic recycling is gaining prominence globally, YIDO focuses on thermal recycling by using its incinerators,” and added “YIDO also plans to utilize excess heat generated by the incineration of plastic waste for plants or smart farms while reducing the emission of carbon dioxide during the incineration by applying its CCU technology.”     Last June, YIDO was selected for a National Assignment of the Ministry of Science and ICT to develop CCU Technology with 12 other related companies, including Hyundai E&C and Lotte Chemical.     Regarding new and renewable energy areas, Choi elaborated, "We are constructing 100-MW solar power generation facilities and pursuing 400-MW offshore wind power business in sea-affected farmland, which is difficult to cultivate, without damaging the forest." He added, "We expect solar power generation facilities in sea-affected farmland will reduce the carbon dioxide emission by 54,000 tons while offshore wind power generators will reduce as much as 506,000 tons per year."   Choi also said that he is willing to invest in environment-related startups. He noted, "There are many environmental startups related to waste management worldwide, but we have only a handful of them here in Korea. I hope to see more young bright talents jump into environment related areas."     CEO Choi explained, "YIDO's vision statement is that We Are Here for Your Greater Life!" by mentioning Space Sweepers, a film about solving the problems derived from space debris. He concluded his presentation by saying, "We will continue our efforts in various angles for better life of all humankind."   Besides CEO Choi, Allison Nam, Partnership Director of Techstars, a global accelerator, introduced the trends representing environment-related investment portfolios in the Climate Action session.   In addition, Jinho Kim, the producer of the movie titled Law of Symbiosis 2, made a presentation about the roles of the media, entertainment businesses and eco-brities on environmental issues.
