SDFOOD to Participate in ‘Supply Side Global 2025’ Food Ingredients Expo in Las Vegas, USA

SEOUL, South Korea — SDFOOD announced that it will participate in Supply Side Global 2026, a leading international exhibition for food and health ingredients, to be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA, in 2026.   The event is recognized as one of the world’s top trade shows for global health ingredients and food innovation, providing a platform for the exchange of the latest industry trends and technologies. More than 15,000 participants — including manufacturers, ingredient distributors, brand owners, retailers, and media representatives from over 60 countries — are expected to attend.   This year’s Supply Side Global will be co-hosted with the Fi North America food ingredients exhibition, generating even greater synergy between the two major industry events.   SDFOOD, a subsidiary of Daewoong Group, has recently introduced new production equipment from Germany and is focusing on the development of functional gummy products. Leveraging its extensive experience in confectionery and food manufacturing, the company is preparing to produce consumer-friendly clean-label gummies that reflect global trends such as vegan, halal gummy, plant-based, low-calorie, and gluten-free options.   The company’s product portfolio has evolved beyond traditional gummies to include zero-sugar gummies, collagen gummies for women, diet gummies, fiber gummies, fruit-flavored gummies for children, post-biotic probiotics gummies, multivitamin gummies, and lutein gummies, meeting a wide range of consumer needs.   Through its participation in the largest health and food ingredients exhibition in the United States, SDFOOD aims to showcase the excellence of its gummy products to the North American market — the world’s largest market for functional gummies. BUGAK KIM to Supply Welcome Food for ‘Stayfolio’

BUGAK KIM announced that it will be supplying welcome food for Stayfolio, Korea's leading fine stay curation platform.    BUGAK KIM is a brand newly launched by Place5, which operates the largest tutor matching platform, Kimstudy in South Korea was founded Jay. Y. Kim.     They produce a healthy addictive finger food made by coating seaweed with sticky rice paste and frying it known as "Kimbugak," cherished for over a thousand years, using a century-old recipe in Namwon, Jeollabuk-do.     A century-old recipe known in Jay. Y. Kim’s family was passed down by his great-grandmother, Madam Lee Jeong-im. She was the parental aunt (wife of his father’s elder brother) of Kim Ju-yeol, a martyr whose death sparked the April 19 Democratic Revolution, was seen making Kimbugak with her daughter-in-law, Madam Oh Bong-deok, in the childhood memories of Jay. Y. Kim’s father.     Madam Lee Jeong-im married in 1924. The recipe is estimated to be at least 100 years old. The recipe was passed from Madam Lee Jeong-im to Madam Oh Bong-deok, and from Madam Oh Bong-deok to Jay. Y. Kim’s mother, Madam Kim Hyun-deok.     A representative from BUGAK KIM stated, "BUGAK KIM is made not only with a historic recipe but also boasts various strengths such as being 100% vegan, gluten-free, and zero sugar," adding, "We expect our product to meet the diverse needs of the customers of Stayfolio."     The first accommodation where BUGAK KIM will be available is 'ADAM HANOK,' a luxury traditional hanok listed on Stayfolio.
