데이빗: 이번 주말에 뭐해?

Ken: I hope to drive up to Santa Barbara.

켄: 샌타바버러로 올라갈까봐.

David: It's nice up there. They have nice restaurants and shops.

데이빗: 거기 좋지. 좋은 식당하고 가게들이 있어.

Ken: Well it all comes down to my car.

켄: 본론은 내 차에 달려있는 거야.

David: What do you mean?

데이빗: 무슨 얘기야?

Ken: My car is giving me trouble. If I can get my car fixed I'll go.

켄: 내 차가 좀 문제거든. 차를 고칠 수 있으면 갈 거야.

David: What's wrong with it?

데이빗: 뭐가 문제지?

Ken: I don't have the slightest idea. It's at the mechanics now.

켄: 난 전혀 모르지. 지금 정비소에 있어.

David: What will you do if the mechanic can't fix it?

데이빗: 정비소에서 못고치면 어떻게 할 거야?

Ken: My wife and I will probably just kick back at home.

켄: 아내하고 그냥 집에서 쉬는 거지 뭐.
