Phil: I made a tee time for Saturday morning at 9:00.

필: 골프 시작 시간을 토요일 아침 9시로 잡았어.

Tom: I can't play. 탐: 난 못 쳐.

Phil: What do you mean? Is 9:00 too early?

필: 무슨 말이야? 9시가 너무 이르다고?

Tom: No. I mean I can't play golf on Saturday.

탐: 아니. 내 말은 토요일에 골프 못 친다고.

Phil: That's two weeks in a row. What are you doing that is so important?

필: 그럼 2주 연속 못 치는 거잖아. 뭐 대단히 중요한 일이라도 있는 거야?

Tom: I'm having a love affair with a girl in the office.

탐: 사무실의 여직원하고 사귀고 있어서 말야.

Phil: Really? I guess that's important enough to give up golf for a few weekends.

필: 정말? 몇 주 골프 치는 거 포기할 만하네.

Tom: Actually I can play next weekend. She'll be out of town.

탐: 사실은 다음 주말엔 골프 칠 수 있어. 애인이 어디를 가거든.

Phil: Good we'll play. Now tell me about her.

필: 좋아 골프 치자. 자 애인 얘기 좀 해봐.

Tom: I don't know where to begin.

탐: 어디부터 말해야 할 지 모르겠네.
